At the start of the treatment, our physicians will apply a numbing cream to the treatment area, for increased comfort during the procedure. During the treatment, you may feel some slight pressure and tingling while the micro-sized needles gently penetrate the skin and deliver heat to stimulate collagen production. Most patients report the treatment as ‘comfortable’, and the entire process only takes about 20 minutes!
We will first apply a topical numbing cream to help ensure comfort during the entirety of the procedure. Then we will begin by performing multiple passes of the RF Microneedling that will feel like a slight pressure and ‘pins and needles’ sensation while the micro-sized needles gently penetrate the skin.
Our physician will then gently pass the CO2 laser over the same treatment area in order to create thousands of microscopic perforations while leaving the surrounding skin and tissue undisturbed.
